Local Stylists Partner with Redken for The Great Bridal Expo
As the official haircare sponsor for the Great Bridal Expo's Fall 2007 tour, Redken needed a strong team of bridal hair experts from the Chandler area to help soon-to-be brides get ready for their big day. Redken selected stylists from LaBella Salon & Day Spa - among the best in town when it comes to bridal hair - to be part of this exclusive event.
The Great Bridal Expo is a national tour that will visit 20 cities across the country between August and November and is the ideal outing for brides-to-be, along with their grooms, bridesmaids, family and friends to learn about the latest and greatest for their wedding.
As a leader in backstage beauty for the top bridal runway shoes in New York City each season, Redken hosted an interactive area on November 9th where the LaBella Salon & Day Spa team provided individual styling, haircare, and color consultations.
"LaBella Salon & Day Spa has always been a destination where brides can come to get the perfect look for their wedding day," notes Wendy Eslick - owner "However, what we are seeing more and more is a need to work with them months before their wedding with things like color maintenance and haircare treatments to help them get the result they want," adds Wendy Eslick.
Attendees at the Great Bridal Expo also received a Redken Bridal Guide, showcasing the latest bridal hair trends and a timeline on how to get your hair in tip top shape for the occasion.
In order to compliment the strong, modern dresses that were seen on many of the bridal runways for fall, LaBella Salon & Day Spa stylists suggested looks that pulled the hair off the face, such as a sleek, classic and textured chignon pinned to the nape of the neck, or hair that is long, loose and secured behind the ears.
In conjunction with the Tour, Redken is also inviting consumers to enter to win a team of Redken stylists for their entire bridal party on their wedding day.
